Claude Code cloud sessions are officially out of research preview. They keep Claude Code working even when your laptop is closed — everything runs on Anthropic-hosted infrastructure.

Existing subscribers get a one-time credit to try them: $100 on Pro, $250 on Max. That's on top of your plan and outside your usage limits, and it applies automatically once you start a cloud session. Claim by 11:59 PM PT, October 7, 2026.

🐙 Step 3 — Connect GitHub

You need GitHub connected to start a cloud session. Link it from Claude Code first if you haven't already.

Tap Continue with GitHub, then authorize the Claude GitHub app — you can change repository access anytime.

🚀 Step 4 — Start a cloud session

Start one at claude.ai/code, from the Code tab in the Claude mobile app, from the desktop app, or with claude --cloud in the CLI. The credit applies automatically — close your laptop and the session keeps going on Anthropic's infrastructure.
