ChatGPT can take a slash code plus a photo and spit back a finished product still or short clip, but only if you @mention Higgsfield first. Wire up the Higgsfield plugin once, then type @higgsfield /productexplosion (mention chip + slash code) so ChatGPT actually routes the preset.

This is the short version I use for product and short-form work: connect Higgsfield, @mention it, run a code, then stack a few into a mini launch kit.

Slash codes are short commands you run through Higgsfield in ChatGPT, like @higgsfield /productexplosion or @higgsfield /ugc.

Attach a product photo (or selfie, for people codes)
Type @higgsfield so it becomes the green Higgsfield mention chip
Immediately type the slash code (add one line of detail if you want)
Hit send

Bare /productexplosion (no @higgsfield) often fails or gets treated as plain chat. The mention is what retrieves the preset.

Stills and motion both need the Higgsfield plugin connected. Motion / UGC / spin clips burn Higgsfield credits.

🧩 Step 2. Add the Higgsfield plugin in ChatGPT

Fast path: open higgsfield.ai/mcp and click Add Higgsfield plugin.

Or in ChatGPT: Settings → Plugins (or Plugin Directory) → search Higgsfield → Add / Connect on the official listing.

On mobile: open the sidebar → tap Plugins → search higgsfield → open the official Higgsfield listing (Every image and video model).

Authorize the Higgsfield window when it asks. No API key.

✅ Step 3. Turn it on and smoke-test

Open a new chat. In the tools menu next to the composer, make sure Higgsfield is enabled.

Smoke test:

Attach a clear product photo
Type @higgsfield until the green Higgsfield chip appears
Type /productexplosion or any of the commands right after the chip (optional: add white seamless background on the next line)
Send
Finished!

If a motion code returns a still instead, check that Higgsfield is toggled on for that chat and that you still have credits.
